C-C motif chemokine receptor 10 is a member of the class A rhodopsin-like G protein-coupled receptor family encoded by the CCR10 gene. It is a seven-transmembrane cell surface receptor that binds the chemokines CCL27 and CCL28 and primarily signals through Gi proteins to regulate calcium flux, cytoskeletal remodeling, and directed leukocyte migration. CCR10 is expressed on subsets of T lymphocytes, plasma cells, and other immune cells, where it contributes to tissue-specific homing, particularly to skin and mucosal sites. Receptor activation promotes chemotaxis and immune surveillance at epithelial surfaces.
