CD147 is a single-pass transmembrane protein that is part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD147 is involved in spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation, retinal maturation and development, and tumor progression. CD147 also facilitates SARS-CoV-1, HIV-1, and measles infection.
