The specificity of LRRC15 Monoclonal Antibody (CSB0165) was tested on the Membrane Proteome Array® and shown to be specific for human LRRC15. The Membrane Proteome Array® contains 6,000 different human membrane proteins, each expressed in unfixed human cells to ensure native conformation and post-translational modifications. The Membrane Proteome Array® represents the industry standard for determining the binding specificity of antibodies and other protein ligands. |

Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 15 (LRRC15) is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) superfamily, characterized by tandem LRR motifs that facilitate protein–protein interactions. It is expressed at low levels in normal tissues but can be upregulated in fibroblasts and certain stromal or epithelial cell types. LRRC15 is localized to the plasma membrane and has been implicated in cell adhesion and extracellular matrix interactions, although its precise biological function remains unclear. Its structure includes an extracellular LRR domain, a single transmembrane region, and a short cytoplasmic tail.
