The specificity of CD44 Monoclonal Antibody (CSB0060) was tested on the Membrane Proteome Array™ and shown to be specific for human CD44.

The Membrane Proteome Array™ contains 6,000 different human membrane proteins, each expressed in unfixed human cells to ensure native conformation and post-translational modifications. CD44 is a single-pass transmembrane protein and cell-surface glycoprotein. CD44 is involved in cell-cell interactions, cell adhesion, and migration and is a receptor for hyaluronic acid, collagen, and other parts of the extracellular matrix. CD44 plays roles in hematopoiesis, inflammation, and immune response and may also be involved tumor metastasis. (NCIB Entrez Gene: 960, UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot: P16070).
