The Membrane Proteome Array® contains 6,000 different human membrane proteins, each expressed in unfixed human cells to ensure native conformation and post-translational modifications. CD4 is a single-pass transmembrane protein and integral membrane glycoprotein. CD4 is a coreceptor with the T-cell receptor and is involved in recognition of antigens and T-cell activation. CD4 is a receptor for HIV-1 and Human Herpes virus 7 and may be involved in infectious and immune-mediated central nervous system diseases.
