Specificity Profile | More Information |
The specificity of CD147 Monoclonal Antibody (CSB0109) was tested on the Membrane Proteome Array™ and shown to be specific for human CD147. The Membrane Proteome Array™ contains 6,000 different human membrane proteins, each expressed in unfixed avian cells to ensure native conformation and post-translational modifications. The Membrane Proteome Array™ represents the industry standard for determining the binding specificity of antibodies and other protein ligands. |

CD147 is a single-pass transmembrane protein that is part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD147 is involved in spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation, retinal maturation and development, and tumor progression. CD147 also facilitates SARS-CoV-1, HIV-1, and measles infection. (NCBI Gene: 682, UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot: P35613). Other names: BSG, EMPRIN, HAb18G, TCSF, 5F7, OK
