Specificity Profile | More Information |
The specificity of PTHR1 Monoclonal Antibody (CSB0053) was tested on the Membrane Proteome Array™ and shown to be specific for human PTHR1. The Membrane Proteome Array™ contains 6,000 different human membrane proteins, each expressed in unfixed human cells to ensure native conformation and post-translational modifications. The Membrane Proteome Array™ represents the industry standard for determining the binding specificity of antibodies and other protein ligands. |

PTHR1 is a multi-pass transmembrane protein that is part of the G-protein couple receptor family 2. PTHR1 binds parathyroid hormone and parathyroid hormone-related and functions through G proteins that activate adenylyl cyclase and phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Mutations in PTHR1 cause chondrodysplasia Blomstrand type, Jansen’s metaphyseal chondrodysplasia, and enchondromatosis.
