The specificity of MOG Monoclonal Antibody (CSB0144) was tested on the Membrane Proteome Array® and shown to be specific for human MOG. The Membrane Proteome Array® contains 6,000 different human membrane proteins, each expressed in unfixed human cells to ensure native conformation and post-translational modifications. The Membrane Proteome Array® represents the industry standard for determining the binding specificity of antibodies and other protein ligands. |

MOG is a transmembrane protein with multi-pass and single-pass isoforms. MOG may play a role in cell-to-cell communication and the completion and maintenance of the myelin sheath. MOG may play a role in immune-mediated demyelination and is a receptor for rubella virus.
