The specificity of IL2Ra Monoclonal Antibody (CSB0015) was tested on the Membrane Proteome Array® and shown to be specific for human IL2Ra. CD25 (also known as IL2-Ra) is a single-pass transmembrane protein and the alpha chain of the high-affinity IL2 receptor, which also includes beta and gamma chains. CD25 is involved in the regulation of immune tolerance. Severe COVID-19 causes elevated levels of IL2R in plasma, and elevated IL2R in serum is associated with some types of carcinomas.
